


尖鼻咀鷺鳥林 / Tsim Bei Tsui Egretry
尖鼻咀鷺鳥林包括新界西北尖鼻咀以南的兩座風水林,面積4.8公頃。
The site comprises of two Fung Shui Groves south of Tsim Bei Tsui in North Western New Territories and covers an area of 4.8 hectares.
這是香港一個重要的鷺鳥林,它是數百對鷺鳥的築巢和繁殖場所,包括小白鷺丶大白鷺丶牛背鷺丶池鷺和夜鷺。 鷺鳥通常在每年4月至9月底於鷺鳥林聚集丶繁殖和飼養幼鳥。 鷺鳥林及其相關的鳥類群落是香港遺產的一部分,應得到良好的保護。
This is an important egrety in Hong Kong. It is the nesting and breeding place for several hundred pairs of egrets and herons including the Little Egret, Great Egret, Great Egret, Cattle Egret, the Chinese Pond Heron and the Night Heron. The birds generally congreegate at the egrety around April to end of September each year for breeding and raising the young. The egrety and its associated bird community is part of Hong Kong's heritage which should be well protected.
