荔枝莊 / Lai Chi Chong
這是一段沿岸地區，由河口延伸至渡輪碼頭東側的沿海地區，面積約5公頃。而該地點的大部分地區都位於西貢西郊野公園內。
This is a belt of coastal area extending from a river estuary to the eastern side of the ferry pier. The area of the site is about 5 hectares. Most parts of the site is located within Sai Kung West Country Park.
該地點主要由沉積岩構成，沿岸沉積岩相當突出。 岩石中含有植物化石以及菊石化石。 荔枝莊的沉積岩保留完好，對研究香港地質歷史具有特別價值。
The site is made up of sedimentary rocks with excellent exposures along the coast. The rock contains plant fossils as well as ammonite. The outcrop of sedimentary rocks here has been well preserved and is of special importance to the study of geological history of Hong Kong.

任何包括傾倒丶填海丶取土用途用的提議都將破壞荔枝莊的寶貴地質特徵。
而荔枝莊的文娛項目發展應僅限於非密集，打此外不受管理的化石開採活動也可能破壞荔枝莊的特殊科學價值。
Development in the form of tipping, reclamation, borrowing etc. will damage or destroy the valuable geological features of the site. Recreation development in this area should be restricted to non-intensive type. Furthermore undiscriminated fossil-digging activities could also destroy the site.
