赤門海峽(北部海岸) / Tolo Channel (Northern Coast)
該地區位於船灣郊野公園之內，這是赤門海峽的北部陸地，從白沙頭洲一直延伸到黃竹角咀，面積約1287公頃。
This is the northen land mass of Tolo Channel, extending from Harbour Island to Bluff Head. The area is about 1287 hectares, The site is located within the desginated Plover Cover Country Park.
該地區由黃竹角咀和赤門海峽的沉積岩組成，沿岸有發現過香港菊石化石的記錄。 這段地帶於研究香港地質歷史十分重要，這裡還好好的地展示出不同的地質特徵，例如跌落丶地層走向丶曲褶和斷層。 這些特徵對教育和科學都具有相當價值。
The site is made up of sedimentary rocks of Bluff Head Formation and Tolo Channel Formation. Fossils (ammonite Hongkongites hongkongensis) were discovered along the coast. This belt of land is of special importance in the study of geological history of Hong Kong. It also gives excellent demonstration of geological features like drop, strike, folding and faulting. These are ueful for education and scientific purposes.
