青山山頂和東西兩面的山溝，面積約為73.7公頃。
The site consists of the summit and the ravines on the east and west faces. The area os the site is about 73.7 hectares.
綠草如茵的山頂是桔梗最重要的棲息地，而桔梗是一種受到《林區及郊區條例》保護的稀有植物。
山谷之中密佈著有趣而稀有的植物，例如黃花紫玉盤。
The grassy summit is the most important site for Platycodon grandiflora, a rare plant which is protected under the Forest and Countryside Ordinance.
The ravines are forested with interesting and rare plant species, e.g. Uvaria hamiltonii.
